Plans and limits
What the free plan covers, what Pro adds and exactly what happens when the allowance runs out.

The plan is chosen per site, not for the whole account. You can have one site on Pro and three on free; you then pay for one, on a single invoice.
What counts towards the allowance
Only pageviews. Engagement events and speed metrics are sent by our own script on every pageview, and counting them would triple usage against what the pricing promises. Custom events that you trigger yourself do not count towards the allowance either.
The month is counted in the time zone of the site, not in UTC. A site set to a US time zone would get a new month seventeen hours early if we counted in UTC.
When the allowance runs out
- Collection pauses for that one site. Other sites on the account keep running, because the allowance counts per site.
- Data gathered earlier stays and you keep seeing it. Nothing is deleted.
- Collection returns on the first day of the next month, or within a minute of switching the site to Pro.
- Pageviews from the paused period will not be recovered. There is nowhere to get them from, because they never reached us.
Above a million pageviews
That is not the next tier of a price list but a different kind of conversation. At that traffic the question is infrastructure rather than picking a plan from a list, so write to us and we will work it out separately.
Changing plan and billing
You switch a site plan in the panel, in the Plan and data view, and it takes effect immediately. The billing period belongs to the account, not to a site: one renewal date and one invoice for every site marked as Pro. Switching to yearly takes effect at renewal, because the current period is already paid.
